Almond Honey Bars

 

I love making homemade muesli bars particularly when they are this simple.
Almonds and honey is such a delicate combination and the seeds add a delicious texture and of course contribute nutritionally to the bars. These are perfect for prepared on a meal prep sunday and enjoyed throughout the week.

Servings: 12 Bars

Ingredients

1 cup Almond Meal
¼ cup Honey
¼ cup Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, melted
¼ cup Pumpkin Seeds
¼ cup Sunflower Seeds
1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
1 tsp Cinnamon 


Method

1.     Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tin (brownie sized tin works well).

2.     Combine all ingredients in a bowl. 

3.     Evenly spread mixture in tin and press down to flatten.

4.     Sprinkle additional seeds (optional) and press into mixture. 

5.     Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden. 

6.     Allow to cool and slice.
