2 Min Natural Noodles

Store bought packets are packed with MSG (Monosodium Glutamate/621-625) which is used as a flavour enhancer.
It has been linked with headaches, numbness, heart palpitations, chest pain and nausea.

Time to make your own.

Servings: 1

Ingredients

60g Instant Noodles (I like to use rice vermicelli or even spiralised zucchini)
100g Protein (cooked meat such as chicken, tofu, etc.)
1 cup Mixed Vegetables, julienned or finely chopped 
(such as carrot, spring onion red onion, capsicum, peas, 
broccoli, bean sprouts, red cabbage, spinach, corn etc.) 
1 tbsp Herbs (such as parsley or coriander)
1 tsp Tamari 
Squeeze of Lemon or Lime
Boiling Water (optional teaspoon of bone broth/miso 
          paste)

Spices:
¼ tsp Garlic Powder (or fresh if you prefer)
¼ tsp Ginger (or fresh if you prefer)
¼ tsp Turmeric, optional
Pepper, to taste

 
 

1.     Add noodles, protein, vegetables, herbs, tamari, citrus and spices to a bowl or jar.

2.     When ready to eat, add boiling water.

3.     Cover and allow noodles to soften for 3 – 5 minutes. 

4.     Devour!
