Chocoholic Protein Cookies

This recipe goes out to all my sweet tooth gym junkies!!

If, like me, you occasionally find yourself craving something sweet after finishing a workout, but still want something high in protein and healthy(ish), then these choc protein cookies are for you!

Using the Artisan Cacao Protein Powder AND coco powder, these cookies are bound to cure all those chocolate cravings.

Servings: 6-8 cookies

Ingredients

1/3 cup Grass-Fed Butter, softened

1/3 cup Rapadura Sugar

1 Free-Range Egg

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

½ cup Oat Flour 

½ cup Artisan Cacao Protein Powder

1 tbsp Cacao Powder

¼ tsp Bicarb 

Pinch Salt

1/3 cup Chocolate Chips

 
 

Method

Preheat oven.

  1. Combine butter and sugar in a bowl.

  2. Add egg and vanilla to bowl and stir to combine. 

  3. Add oat flour, protein powder, cacao powder, bicarb and salt. Stir until combined. 

  4. Fold through chocolate chips. 

  5. Use heaped tablespoon dollops and divide mixture on a lined baking tray.

  6. Bake for 8 minutes. Allow to rest for at least 5 minutes and enjoy!
