Choc Mint Porridge

 

Back for another recipe with my faves from GF Oats,
however this one is featuring their choc chips.
I am quite picky with what chocolate chips I buy, I always make sure they are the least refined as possible and don’t have nasty additives in them.


Here’s the simple ingredient list for these cacao chips:
organic cocoa mass (cacao liquor), organic cane sugar, organic cacao butter, organic natural cacao powder.

Choc Mint Porridge

Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 Peppermint Tea Bag
2/3 cup Boiling Water
1/3 cup Rolled Oats ⁠
½ Banana, mashed
1 tsp Cacao Powder
½ tsp Coconut Sugar, optional
1 tbsp Choc Chips 
1 tbsp Brazil Nuts, roughly chopped
Mint Leaves

Method

1.     Brew peppermint tea in boiling water.

2.     Add brewed tea water, oats, banana, cacao power and coconut sugar to a small saucepan.

3.     Cook ingredients on a low heat for 3-4 minutes or to your desired consistency.

4.     Stir through choc chips and top with Brazil nuts and mint leaves.
