Cheesy Almond Crackers

Here is your solution of what to with your leftover nut milk pulp from my Natural Nut Milk recipe!
I don’t like anything going to waste & that pulp is nutritionally sound, with some extra flavourings can taste fantastic!

Cheesey Almond Crackers Edited.jpg

Servings: 20 Crackers (depending on thickness & size)

Ingredients

Leftover Nut Pulp (I used almonds for my Natural Nut Milk, this will be approximately 1 cup)
2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
1-2 tbsp Water (depending on amount of pulp)
¼ tsp Salt

Method

1.     Preheat oven to 180 degrees fan forced.

2.     Mix all ingredients in a bowl until combined.

3.     Using a roller, roll out mixture onto a baking tray with baking paper (hint: wrap some extra baking paper around the roller to ensure mixture does not get stuck when rolling).

4.     Sprinkle with extra nutritional yeast & season with extra salt.

5.     Cut into your desired cracker size and separate on tray.

6.     Bake for 17- 20 minutes, flipping halfway.

Hint

I love to have this with hummus, have you made my natural hummus recipe yet?
